Recently, we have been shocked by news reporting sexual abuse by a well – known poet Sitok Sengrenge. He used his power over the victim in order to receive sex service. Finally she filed report to the Police for unpleasant conduct done by the accused poet. And there might be still other victims who haven’t filed any reports to the Police Department. Now, the case is still under investigation by police department.
So what do you think of this case? I notice that the victim seems to be powerless and unable to take down the poet’s conduct. And exactly there had been trust between them before the incident happened. The suspect and victim have known each other well. As a result, it was easy for the suspect to have sexual molestation upon this 22 – year old victim.
I have always been so sorry for what has happened to the victim. May God give her strength and the best solution in this tough time. I really understand how she is feeling and hopefully this “bastard” receives what he deserves; the jail and unforgiveable sanction by the society.
This case, in my opinion, has warned and given us a lesson that we have to be careful in association with others. Don’t always trust others for they are well – known and have a good reputation. Moreover, again and again this is always women who are in the disadvantageous side. They mostly seem “powerless” and prone to be the victim of men’s power.
So, how to prevent from being the victim of men’s power (demonic men’s power) that molest women physically and mentally? I think women have to be very strict in their relationship with men. I mean, limitations must be clear. Oftentimes, women can be used and molested because they do not reiterate the limitations between men and women. They are trusting men too much. For example, they believe giving “everything” is a proof of a true love/relationship. Even though, there have been smart women who do not believe it, there are still those cheated on by the so called “true love”. They are harmed if they believe in this misleading myth.
What this poet has done is “smart”. He used of his skill of using beautiful words, softly intimidating and molesting his prey. And it is trapped by his magical words that assault so harshly and has no power to release from the trap. It is pathetic.
Finally, it is back to you again, women. Do you want to be always the victims or kill those evil men? If you never want to be the victims, make sure that you are “untouchable”. Make you all untouchable by demonic and irresponsible men.
